Meanwhile, a last minute strike by Nigerian forward Kingsley Chigozie helped  Mohammedan Sporting Club secure a dramatic 3-2 win against Muktijoddha Sangshad Krira Chakra in the day’s second match.
Mohammedan took a 2-0 lead in the first half after Haitian forward Augustine Walson and Kingsley struck each in the 19th and 38th minute respectively.
However, Muktijoddha bounced back strongly once Nigerian forward Magalan Awala scored twice in the 73rd and 90th minute but Kingsley scored his second goal in the injury time to seal Mohammedan’s victory.
Mohammedan remained on fifth position with 32 points while Muktijoddha still remained on relegation zone with 17 points, just three points ahead of two bottom placed sides Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society and Farashganj Sporting Club.
