?????Roqibul struck 17-fours and 10 sixes in his 138-ball knock and broke the domestic record that was set by his Mohammedan team-mate Tamim Iqbal who had scored 157 runs against Kalabagan Krira Chakra in the same league this year.

Chasing the huge total, Mohammedan lost three wickets for just 38 runs when Raqibul came to the crease in the ninth over to pursuit for an improbable target.

He got only substantial support from Charith Asalanka, who made 63, as the duo added 175 runs in the fourth wicket before Roqibul staged a lone fight till he was dismissed in the second ball of the last over.

Shugavata Hom was treated most harshly as he gave away 71 runs in six overs and Roqibul hit six sixes against the off-spinner to ruin his bowling figure.

Indian left-arm spinner Manan Sharma was the pick of the bowlers for Abahani picking five wickets and giving away just 47 runs in 10 overs that itself was outstanding in a match that saw over 700 runs in 100 overs.

Earlier in the day Abahani could climb the mountain of runs thanks to Liton and Nazmul.

Liton, who made 135 off just 103 balls with 15 fours and three sixes, made a 103-run opening stand with Shadman Islam before adding 154 runs with Nazmul to give his side a perfect launching pad.

Liton was out in the first ball of the 33rd over but Nazmul kept on before being dismissed in the 49th over scoring 110 runs of 100 balls that made sure his side got past the 350-run mark.

Shuvagata may have had an embarrassing day with ball but his 48 not out off 27 balls was crucial for his side to score 99 runs in last 10 overs that made the difference in the end.

Taijul Islam was the pick of the bowlers for Mohammedan with 3-57.
